MAILKOMET
Mailkomet is a newsletter and mailing list service for individuals, small businesses and companies. You write an issue in a simple editor, and Mailkomet sends it to the people who signed up for your newsletter.
How people join a list
- Every sign-up form uses double opt-in: a person is added only after they press the button in the confirmation email we send them.
- A sender can also add one person at a time and has to record why that person agreed.
- File imports are switched off until mailbox validation is live. When they open, the sender must confirm that every person agreed to get their emails, and every address is checked first.
- Bought, rented or scraped lists are not allowed. See the acceptable use policy.
How we keep email wanted
- Every email has an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers, and an unsubscribe works at once.
- An address that bounces or reports an email as spam gets no more email from any newsletter on Mailkomet.
- We pause an account's sending when more than 3% of its emails bounce or more than 0.08% are reported as spam.
- Every email says who sends it and how to reach them.
Mailkomet is not open for sign-ups yet.
